- Earle A. Malm
- President and Chief Executive Officer
Earle Malm joined HighMark in 2002. Earle serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of HighMark Capital Management and as Trustee of the HighMark Funds Board of Trustees. Furthermore, he is a member of HighMark’s Investment Policy Committee and of Union Bank’s Fiduciary Risk Management Committee. Earle began his career in the investment industry in 1993, working for firms such as GT Capital Management and GT Global Mutual Funds. Earle has held senior management positions with GE, RCA, and ValueClick. Earle earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green University
- David J. Goerz III
- Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer
David J. Goerz III, senior vice president and chief investment officer, joined HighMark in 2003. As CIO, David provides leadership to all of HighMark's investment activities. He chairs the Investment Policy Committee and the Asset Allocation Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors of HighMark Capital. Prior to joining HighMark, he was chief investment officer of mPower Advisors and Morningstar Associates, subsequent to acquisition. Previously, he was director of global asset allocation research and portfolio manager for Wellington Management. He also held portfolio management and senior investment research positions with TSA Capital Management and ARCO Investment Management. David regularly appears on CNBC as well as Bloomberg TV and Radio, and is quoted frequently in various investment periodicals. David received his Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in Applied Mathematics and a Master's in Operations Research Engineering from Stanford.

Catherine Vacca joined HighMark Capital Management in 2004. As chief compliance officer for HighMark Capital Management and for the HighMark Funds, Catherine is responsible for the implementation of compliance policies and procedures for both legal entities. Catherine reports to the governing Boards of HighMark Capital Management and HighMark Funds. She is a member of HighMark's Compliance Committee and Global Risk Management Committee as well as a non-voting member of the Investment Policy Committee and Client Commissions Committee. She has more than 20 years of experience in the investment management industry with firms that include Wells Fargo Funds Management, Charles Schwab & Co., Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., and The Boston Company Advisors, Inc. Catherine received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Boston University, a Juris Doctor from New England School of Law and a Master's of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.

- Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Jonathan joined HighMark in June of 2010. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for HighMark's finance, technology and operations functions in addition to playing a key role in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and compensation strategies. Jonathan also serves on the Board of Directors of HighMark Capital Management. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1987, serving in various capacities at Bank of America. Prior to joining HighMark, Jonathan was the CFO at WR Hambrecht + Co, a full-service boutique investment bank. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Southern California.

John joined HighMark in September of 2009 as Senior Vice President, Institutional Sales & Marketing. He is responsible for overseeing and growing HighMark’s institutional business and assets under management. His responsibilities include new business development, relationship management and client service, in addition to growing the firm’s institutional staff and increasing marketing activity to solidify HighMark as a leading provider of institutional investment management solutions. John’s career spans more than 17 years in investment sales, sales management and product and group management experience. Prior to joining HighMark, John's previous experience includes sales and marketing roles at Loomis, Sayles & Company, Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management and US Trust. John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Strategic Planning from the University of Chicago, Booth Graduate School of Business.

- Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Mutual Funds
As Managing Director, Kevin is responsible for the distribution related activities of the HighMark Funds, which includes oversight of the Fund's national wholesaling and marketing teams as well as acting liaison with third party distributors and legal team. Kevin began his career in the investment industry in 1985, serving as President of Pioneer Funds Distributor and then at Safeco Mutual Funds, followed by Putnam Investments, where he served as Director of European Corporate Development while based in Milan, Italy. Kevin was President of Hennessy Funds before joining HighMark in 2010. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Cortland.

Kevin Rogers joined HighMark Capital Management in January 1994. He manages the investment, fiduciary, and asset gathering activities of HighMark Capital Advisors. Kevin is a member of HighMark's Investment Policy Committee and the Regional Investment Committee. He has more than 25 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining HighMark, Kevin spent ten years at Analytic Investors in both equity and fixed income senior portfolio management roles. Kevin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Political Economy from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Pepperdine University.

Chris Weiss joined HighMark Capital Management in 2003. Chris manages the sub-advisory services and mutual fund due-diligence activities at HighMark. Chris also serves as project manager on a variety of special assignments. She is a member of HighMark's Investment Policy Committee and Manager Review Committee. Chris has more than 21 years of experience in the investment management industry. Previous experience includes seven years with GT Global, a global investment management firm serving retail and institutional clients. Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from University of California at Santa Barbara, and a Master's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Golden Gate University.

- Vice President and Director of Mutual Fund Administration
Pam O'Donnell joined HighMark Capital Management in 2003. As director of mutual fund administration, Pam is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HighMark Mutual Funds including the oversight of mutual fund service providers. In addition, she is responsible for Board of Trustee meeting oversight. She is also a member of HighMark Mutual Funds' Fair Valuation Committee and HighMark Sarbanes Oxley Disclosure Control Committee. Pam has more than 21 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining HighMark, Pam was vice president of finance at MiFund, Inc. Other positions held include vice president at Montgomery Asset Management, vice president of tax at GT Capital Management, tax manager at Coopers & Lybrand, and fund accountant at Colonial Management. Pam received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of California at San Diego and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
